The Energy Vampire
About
Meet the beautiful Kye Marten. She’s a twenty-seven year old college student seeking balance and control in her life., and finally nearing the end of her usual college routine of endless papers and nerve-racking projects. Next, comes her internship... at STERLING ENTERPRISES. Her roommate/situationship, Kiran Cross- is a sensual, caring, and humble young man around twenty-eight years old. And, still a headache nonetheless. Then, insert Narcis Sterling. The owner and heart-throbbing Billionaire and Business Tycoon of STERLING ENTERPRISES- and the evil older stepbrother of Kiran Cross. Kye, seeking her own selfish gains, signs a contract with Narcis outside of her internship, taking on a challenging position as a “Personal Assistant” to Narcis, unaware of how deep his hatred truly is for Kiran. And in the midst of it, Kye can’t help but fall for his wicked charm- despite his demanding nature. She becomes torn between the two, because when she’s with Kiran all she can think about is her sadistically dark connection with Narcis. And when she’s with Narcis, (yeah you guessed it) all she can think about is the unconditional love and passion she receives when she’s with Kiran. And Kiran, merely seeking a love that could last forever within her, finds himself constantly competing against his stepbrother in a power struggle to indulge in the kind of novelty only Kye can give them: Her fiery, divine energy. Did I mention Kiran and Narcis are both vampires? Kye’s Yin and Yang. Narcis, a full-blooded born killer, cold and calculating, opposite to the figuratively and metaphorically speaking warm-bodied, warm-hearted, and half-blooded Kiran. And they have serious beef with each other... I’m talking: SERIOUS. BEEF. WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE IN THIS SITUATION? Kiran Cross? The humble, sensual heart throb whose tie to Kye is more than just superficial… or, Narcis Sterling? The affluent- yet acrimonious tyrant and stepbrother who wants the imprinted bond that Kiran has with Kye for himself as well. Kye becomes conflicted by her emotions over the thought of severing ties with one brother for the other, because both of them hold unique keys to unlocking the complex Pandora box that is Kye. One thing’s for sure, and two things for certain, Narcis claims Kye belongs TO him. Kiran, believes she belongs WITH him. But, Kye… Wants BOTH of them. Can the brothers put their rivalry to the side to be able to give her the life she desires, or will things get a “bite” more “complicated”?
TRIGGER WARNINGS
Praise for this book
"This new dark romance kept me locked in a chokehold over the span of a couple days. I was into it from start to finish. I didn't want to put it down. AT ALL! The story was unorthodox (as expected from "A RENEGAL"), but still, a well written read that fu***d me up in the end with a twist I didn’t see coming. No spoilers- but, I honestly thought it was going to go in a different direction, so I was really pleased the author was able to utterly f**k up my mind with it. I still don't know how to feel about it 🫨. Definitely a worthy novel from this author. I will be reading more books she writes."
